Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking an Experienced Forklift Mechanic/Technician to join their team. As an Experienced Forklift Mechanic/Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Experienced Forklift Mechanic/Technician

Location: Brewster, NY

Pay Range: $25

Shift: Monday-Friday 5:00am-2:30pm

What's the Job?

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other warehouse equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and execute necessary repairs efficiently and safely.
• Support inventory management by organizing and maintaining maintenance supplies and tools.
• Conduct inspections and report any issues or hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment for various facility needs and special events.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to receive training on (non-PIV) sweeper equipment.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
