As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises in a vehicle while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor the location for unusual activity and report observations in accordance with established protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to assist with inquiries or access as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents or issues according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
